Who We Are
Hi! We’re the Emerys! We’ve been married for over 20 years, and we’re super excited to share our camping knowledge with you.
Opposites attract they say, and we’re a bit of an odd couple.
Sean is definitely a camping kinda guy. He loves doing just about anything that involves being outdoors. He’s had tons of experience sleeping under the stars and has had lots of survival training.
While Sean’s day job is as a computer engineer, he loves to get away and unwind as far away from technology as possible.
Louise is an “indoorsy” kind of person, and even has the t-shirt to prove it. While she loves to travel, she’s happiest in a hotel with room service.
Louise spends her days taking care of the kids and writing for her site ChaoticallyYours.com.
The idea to start Camp Rookie came to us when Sean wanted to take our kids camping, and we realized that Louise has a LOT to learn about how to camp.
So we’re putting together Camp Rookie from a beginners point of view. As Sean teaches Louise new skills and techniques about camping, we’re gonna be sharing them with you!
